Contenu de la formation

La formation sera dispensée en anglais

During this training, information will be given on:

There is a rapidly growing need for ICS professionals with knowledge of cybersecurity within technical or process automation environments. To meet this need we have developed a comprehensive cybersecurity training program for anyone involved with production and process installations, building-related installations such as building management systems, HVAC, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. This training is also particularly interesting for anyone interested in or involved with developments related to Smart Industry, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, IoT, or IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).

During the three-day program, you will become familiar with relevant cybersecurity terminology, gain an excellent understanding of the IEC 62443 standard, and learn to apply your new knowledge and skills within your own organization's practice. The training is conducted in English and the training materials are in English as well.

The training is fully aligned with current EU directives and upcoming legislation (NIS2, CRA, …) regarding demonstrably possessing cybersecurity knowledge within the technical domain. Each participant receives a “certificate of participation” after completing the full three days.

Additionally, you can also take an examination on a later date. If you pass that exam, you will receive the official certificate ‘IEC 62443 Security Professional Industrial Automation and Control Systems,’ which demonstrates that you possess sufficient knowledge of cybersecurity in an IACS environment to develop and implement a policy in accordance with IEC 62443 and European regulations (NIS). Like the training, the exam has two versions, one for end-users and one for System Integrators.

To register for the IEC 62443 exam, you must have completed the 3-day training ‘IEC 62443: Cybersecurity for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS)’ no more than 1 year prior.

This certificate is valid for 2 years. After the certificate expires, you must pass the IEC 62443 exam within 1 year to maintain your certification. If you do not pass the exam within 1 year, you will need to retake the entire 3-day training to be eligible to take the exam again.

If you do not pass on the first attempt, you can retake the exam every quarter. The condition is that you must have completed the 3-day training no more than 1 year prior or obtained the ‘IEC 62443 Security Professional Industrial Automation and Control Systems’ certificate less than 3 years ago.

Exams are conducted by IBEX in Nieuwegein, Netherlands (part of Kiwa). In 2022, Kiwa was designated by the IECEE for performing certifications as part of the IEC 62443 standards series. The certificate is internationally recognized.

The typical cost of such an exam is €215, excluding VAT, and is not included in the price of this training.

Objectifs

During this 3-day training we dive into the de-facto standard for industrial cybersecurity IEC62443, and prepare the participants for the exam “IEC 62443 Security Professional Industrial Automation and Control Systems”. This training is available in two versions: one version for end-users, and another one for system integrators. This training is the version for end-users.

Please contact us if you are interested in the version for system integrators.
