This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to understand and introduce information security controls applicable to the provision and use of cloud services into their organisation.

• The history and application of ISO 27017:2015 as an international standard. 
• How to summarise the structure, content and purpose of ISO 27017:2015
• The different extended controls expectations for both cloud service customers and cloud service providers. 
• The additional controls of ISO 27017:2015, and how it relates as an extension of ISO 27002:2022.

Objectifs

This E-Learning course is aligned to the structure of ISO 27017:2015 and is focused on four areas of study. These are:

• Overview: This explains what ISO 27017:2015 intends to achieve, the benefits of achieving the standard, and the history of ISO 27017:2015. 

• Extended Controls: This will go into detail about the core steps to take into account for both cloud service customers and providers to ensure the appropriate extended controls are sufficiently implemented. 

• Additional Controls: This presents the additional controls within ISO 27017:2015, which acts as an extension to ISO 27002:2022. 

• Glossary: This provides an additional resource to support users with the vocabulary and terminology used in this E-Learning.
