Objectives

This training is designed for the technicians and mechanical engineers who are directly or indirectly involved in the construction of parts and components following ASME B&PV code Section III.  It provides an overview of the general requirements (responsibilities of the different actors, certification of personnel, companies, materials, parts and components : sub-section NCA) and technical requirements (class 1, 2, 3, MC items and their supports : sub-sections NB until NF) of the code. The purpose is that the participants possess the keys to work with the code. Interactions with Sections II, V and IX of B&PV code, and with NQA-1 code are also covered.
