For whom?
This course is therefore aimed solely at prospective Class II Radiation Protection Officers in the NDT sector who have already completed a comprehensive basic training course in radiation protection.
- Radiologists who have completed 16 hours of radiation protection training in accordance with the old licensing requirements
- Radiologists who have completed an RPO training course abroad

Objectives
On 17 February 2023, the Royal Decree on industrial radiography was published, which has implications for companies carrying out non-destructive testing (NDT) using ionising radiation.
The new Royal Decree affects the organisation of these activities, but also imposes specific training requirements on industrial radiographers. In addition to an initial 4-hour training course, they must also complete the ‘Radiation Protection Officer’ training course in order to be authorised to carry out their duties.
The target group must undertake additional training to fulfil the role of Radiation Protection Officer or Head of the Physical Control Service. We offer this through this e-learning course.
